Authority Liaison Draftsman Full Time

Company Overview:

MAZ Consultants is a reputable architectural and engineering consultancy in Dubai, specializing in innovative residential and commercial design solutions. We are currently seeking a Draftsman with strong AutoCAD skills and proven experience in authority approvals and submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Technical Drawings: Create detailed architectural, structural, MEP, telecom, and DCD drawings using AutoCAD as per project and regulatory standards.
• Authority Submissions: Manage and submit drawings to Dubai authorities including:
• Dubai Municipality (DM)
• Dubai Development Authority (DDA)
• Trakhees
• RTA
• DCD
• Coordinate with Design Teams: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to align technical output with design goals.
• Regulation Compliance: Stay updated with the latest UAE authority codes and submission requirements.
• Drawing Revisions: Update and revise CAD drawings based on feedback from internal teams and government entities to ensure timely approvals.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 2 years in drafting and authority submissions (4 years preferred).
• Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD; knowledge of other relevant software is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of local authority regulations and procedures (DM, DDA, RTA, Trakhees, DCD).
• Education: Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in creating compliant and precise technical documentation.
• Communication Skills: Strong English proficiency (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in the same field (Architecture/Consultancy in Dubai)
• Prior experience managing multi-disciplinary authority submissions
