Architectural Design Specialist – Moonbox Dubai Full Time

About Us:

Moonbox is a creative and design-forward agency based in Dubai, renowned for its branding, visual identity and multidisciplinary design services across sectors including real estate, hospitality, and commercial development. The architecture and built-environment arm is expanding, and we are looking for an Architect who shares our passion for innovative design, strong aesthetics and practical execution.

Role Overview:

As Architect at Moonbox, you will lead the design, development and delivery of architectural and interior-architecture projects from concept through to construction handover. You will translate client briefs into creative, buildable solutions that align with Moonbox’s design ethos — combining brand story, spatial experience and technical rigour. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, drive design meetings, engage with consultants and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret client requirements and develop architectural concepts, schematic design, detailed design and documentation for projects (commercial, hospitality, retail and residential).
• Prepare drawings, 3D visualisations and presentation materials to communicate design intent effectively.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, interior design, and brand teams to integrate architectural solutions with Moonbox’s brand-driven design approach.
• Manage the permitting process with Dubai authorities, conduct site visits, monitor construction progress, resolve design issues and ensure quality control.
• Review materials, finishes, and building systems; ensure adherence to budget, schedule and sustainability standards.
• Promote innovation within the team: research new construction methods, emerging technologies, and material trends to enhance design excellence.
• Mentor junior architects and designers, review their work, and contribute to design-team development and process improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture; licenced or eligible in Dubai preferable.
• Minimum 4-6 years’ experience in architecture or interior architecture (UAE experience a major advantage).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or equivalent, and strong 3D visualisation/presentation skills.
• Excellent design sense with great attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Knowledge of Dubai building regulations, authority approvals and construction practices.
