Architect – Crystal Corporation – Dubai Full Time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a talented and motivated Architect to join our Design & Model Integration team. In this role you will bridge conceptual architectural design and physical model/manufacturing workflows, ensuring proposals and visualisations translate into high-impact, buildable model outputs. You will collaborate closely with architects, model makers, engineers and fabrication teams to deliver precise, compelling, and innovative solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine architectural concepts and drawings into model-ready designs, ensuring fidelity to spatial, structural and aesthetic requirements.
• Work with CAD/BIM software to generate accurate 3D files and prepare them for model fabrication or 3D printing processes.
• Collaborate with model making and printing teams to convert digital designs into physical prototypes, parts and full-scale models, ensuring accuracy, functionality and aesthetic quality.
• Review and optimise design details for manufacturability, material choice, cost-effectiveness and production timelines.
• Produce visualisations, renderings and documentation to communicate design intent and model output clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage project schedules, ensure quality control, monitor project milestones and troubleshoot design-to-fabrication issues.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, fabrication technologies and 3D printing innovations and propose improvements to workflows and design standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Design, or equivalent relevant field.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in architectural design, preferably with exposure to model making or fabrication workflows.
• Strong proficiency in CAD/BIM software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp) and experience preparing files for 3D printing or model production.
• Excellent visualisation skills and ability to translate design concepts into physical outputs.
• High level of attention to detail, spatial awareness and a strong sense of craftsmanship and aesthetics.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, ability to coordinate across design, fabrication and project teams.
• Portfolio demonstrating architectural design work, model integration or prototyping experience is a plus.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary range: AED 12,000 – AED 15,000 per month (depending on experience and portfolio strength).
