Agile Delivery Lead – Cyber Security Full Time

Role Overview:

As the Agile Delivery Lead – Cyber Security, you will play a crucial role in leading and driving high-performing, multi-disciplinary teams within a Cyber Security environment. In this position, you will guide the team on the Agile/Scrum practices and delivery methodologies, ensuring the timely implementation of technical products and aligning with the company’s Cyber strategy. You will be the Scrum Master / Project Manager / Controller, managing the day-to-day activities of the team and delivering exceptional value to business users.

You will work closely with Cyber Security Product Owners, Architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and maintain continuous improvement in all processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scrum and Project Management: Schedule user stories from the technical product backlog, focusing on timely delivery of business value initiatives. Facilitate agile ceremonies (product backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives).

  • Team Leadership: Guide the team on Agile/Scrum practices and values. Assess the team’s Scrum maturity and coach them to higher levels, promoting empowerment and engagement.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Technical Product Owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to refine, clarify, and maintain the product backlog. Ensure alignment across all teams to meet business expectations.

  • Process Improvement: Champion ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance Agile delivery practices. Resolve conflicts effectively and ensure that Acceptance Criteria and the Definition of Done (DOD) are met.

  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Cyber Risk, OT/Aircraft engineering, and third-party vendors. Ensure alignment across multidisciplinary workstreams to deliver complex technical objectives.

  • Agile Tools Management: Maintain an agile project management tool (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, ScrumDesk) to track progress and facilitate communication.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Certification: Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with at least 3+ years of practical application of Scrum management discipline.

  • Experience: 5+ years in Information Technology, with proven leadership and project delivery experience, especially in a matrix organization and global teams.

  • Agile Delivery: Experience in agile delivery within small/medium technology change programs.

  • Cyber Security Projects: Demonstrated experience in delivering cybersecurity or technical projects within Operational Technology (OT) and/or aviation environments.

  • Regulated Sectors: Experience working in highly regulated sectors (e.g., aviation, industrial control systems) is advantageous.

  • Skills: Proficiency in using agile tools such as MS Office Suite, JIRA, Confluence. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential for the role.

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

  • Experience with Industrial Control Systems (SCADA, BMS) or aviation systems.

  • Familiarity with safety considerations and regulatory requirements in specialized operational domains.

  • Strong experience in coordinating across multidisciplinary teams and managing external stakeholders.

  • Ability to collaborate with Cyber Risk teams to support risk management frameworks.
