Role Overview

The Accountant will support financial operations across Europe and the Middle East, focusing on sales revenue tracking, commission and branding fee accounting, monthly closings, and compliance with local regulations. This Dubai-based position plays a key role in supporting both finance and business development functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile real-time sales revenue across multiple regions
• Track and account for branding fees and commissions (earned and payable)
• Coordinate with sales and business development teams for accurate financial treatment of deals
• Prepare and distribute commission reports in line with internal policies
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger entries
• Manage billing, collections, and supplier payments
• Support preparation of financial statements and management reports
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and assist with filings
• Contribute to ad hoc finance projects as directed by the Finance Manager

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification (preferred)
• 3–5 years of accounting experience within the UAE
• Strong knowledge of local tax laws and financial regulations
• Experience in commission and revenue tracking (preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SUN, QuickBooks, or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
