Accounts Receivable Specialist Full Time NEW

Job Summary:

Our client, a dynamic and rapidly expanding real estate brokerage firm in Dubai, is looking for an experienced Accountant to manage full-cycle accounting duties. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong background in accounting, VAT regulations, payroll, and financial reporting within the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Transactions: Manage customer invoices, receipts, collections, and aging reports.

  • Supplier Management: Reconcile supplier accounts, process vendor invoices, and ensure timely payments.

  • Accounts Receivable/Payable: Maintain AR/AP ledgers and ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place.

  • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority regulations. Maintain accurate VAT records and support audits.

  • Payroll Management: Process monthly payroll, including salary transfers, end-of-service calculations, and leave salary according to UAE labor laws. Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in payroll matters.

  • Financial Closures: Assist in monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing procedures.

  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, and other balance sheet accounts.

  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of financial reports, cash flow analysis, and budget tracking.

  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with auditors, providing necessary financial documents and records.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2-4 years of accounting experience in the UAE, particularly in the real estate industry.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE VAT regulations, real estate transaction flows, and payroll practices. Familiarity with RERA regulations is a plus.

  • Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.

  • Language: Good verbal and written communication skills in English.

  • Confidentiality: Ability to manage sensitive financial information with professionalism.
