The Accounting Clerk will provide exceptional and consistent administrative support within the Accounting Department to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role involves managing various accounting functions to maintain accurate records, process financial transactions, and support the department’s daily activities.
Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the Accounting Department, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Record Management: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions and maintenance of accounting records.
Financial Transactions: Assist in the preparation and processing of payments, receipts, and other financial transactions.
Reporting: Assist in preparing financial reports, including reconciling accounts and maintaining balance sheets.
Compliance: Ensure that all accounting processes comply with internal policies and relevant financial regulations.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure the effective flow of financial data and documents.
Support for Audits: Assist in preparing documentation required for audits and other financial inspections.
Education: Certificate or qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience: 2-4 years of work experience as an Accounts Clerk, preferably in a hotel, large organization, or accounting firm.
Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software.
Accuracy: High level of accuracy in processing financial data and preparing reports.
Efficiency: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks.
Communication: Strong communication skills to collaborate with various teams and departments.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and resolve accounting issues quickly and effectively.
