Part-Time Accountant – The VAT Consultant Part Time

A well-established accounting and financial services firm in Dubai is currently recruiting Part-Time Accountants to support its growing accounting and compliance operations. The Part-Time Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day-to-day accounting functions. Salary and Benefits

• Monthly salary between AED 3,000 and AED 5,000, based on experience and working hours

Key Responsibilities

• Record and maintain daily financial transactions with accuracy
• Manage invoices, receipts, payments, and expense documentation
• Update accounting ledgers and ensure records are well-organized
• Assist with VAT calculations and maintain supporting documentation
• Support VAT return preparation under supervision
• Perform bank reconciliations and review supplier accounts
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and periodic financial reporting
• Support senior accountants during audits and compliance activities
• Coordinate with clients to collect and verify financial information
• Ensure confidentiality and professional handling of all financial data

Job Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping is preferred
• Basic understanding of UAE accounting practices and VAT regulations is an advantage
• Experience with accounting software such as Tally, QuickBooks, or similar systems
• Strong numerical, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Good communication skills in English
• Arabic language skills are an added advantage, but not mandatory
• Professional attitude with strong ethical standards
