Accountant Vacancy – CDA Audit Dubai Full Time

CDA Audit is looking to hire a responsible and detail-focused Accountant to support its growing audit and advisory operations in Dubai. This role is suitable for professionals who value accuracy, compliance, and ethical financial practices, and who wish to work in a structured and professional environment.

The Accountant will be involved in managing financial records, supporting audit engagements, and ensuring that all accounting activities meet UAE legal requirements and internationally accepted accounting standards. The position requires strong numerical skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and a professional approach to client and internal coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting tasks, including posting entries, maintaining ledgers, and updating financial records
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports for internal review and client use
• Support audit assignments by organizing financial data, schedules, and reconciliations
• Ensure accounting records comply with IFRS and applicable UAE regulations
• Manage VAT-related activities, including calculations, documentation, and timely submissions
• Conduct bank reconciliations and follow up on outstanding or unmatched transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
• Review financial information to identify errors, inconsistencies, or compliance issues
• Communicate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting matters efficiently
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial and business information

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related academic field
• Previous experience working as an Accountant in the UAE is preferred
• Practical knowledge of VAT, financial reporting, and accounting standards
• Ability to work with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good organizational and time-management abilities
• Capability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
• Clear communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage
