Dubai British School is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join its academic team in Dubai. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting students and contributing positively to a high-quality learning environment. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with classroom teachers to support daily teaching activities and ensure students receive the guidance they need to succeed academically and socially.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in assisting teachers with lesson delivery, classroom organization, and student engagement. You will help students understand learning objectives, follow instructions, and complete classroom tasks effectively. The position requires a caring and patient individual who can support learners of different abilities and backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support teachers during classroom lessons and educational activities.
• Assist individual students or small groups to reinforce learning concepts.
• Help prepare teaching materials, resources, and classroom displays.
• Monitor student behavior and encourage positive learning habits.
• Support students with additional learning or language needs when required.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supervise students during breaks, transitions, and school activities.
• Observe student progress and share feedback with the class teacher.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• A relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
