Teaching Assistant – RIT Dubai Full Time

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) Dubai is inviting applications for the position of Teaching Assistant to support its diverse academic departments. The successful candidate will work closely with faculty members to enhance teaching quality, assist in research, and ensure that students receive a well-rounded learning experience. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist professors in delivering lectures, preparing instructional materials, and organizing laboratory or classroom sessions.
• Support students through group tutorials, project supervision, and individualized academic guidance.
• Evaluate assignments, quizzes, and lab reports accurately while maintaining confidentiality and fairness.
• Manage classroom technology, learning platforms, and online teaching tools to ensure smooth course delivery.
• Contribute to research projects, data entry, and documentation as directed by the faculty.
• Provide administrative support including attendance tracking, grading documentation, and course record maintenance.
• Foster a positive learning environment by encouraging active participation, inclusivity, and academic integrity.
• Attend departmental meetings, workshops, and training programs to stay updated with institutional procedures and best practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business (Master’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Tutor in a higher education environment is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine interest in student success.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle, Blackboard).
• Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and adapt to a dynamic academic setting.
