Job Description:

As a Finance Officer at InsuranceMarket.ae, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening our financial operations and supporting the company’s ongoing growth in the UAE’s insurance sector. You will be responsible for analysing financial data, preparing and monitoring budgets, and ensuring that financial processes align with strategic business objectives. Your insights will help guide decision‑making and improve financial performance across departments.

You will collaborate closely with our accounting, operations and senior management teams to produce financial reports, track key metrics, and recommend improvements. The role involves overseeing invoicing and receivables, managing expense controls, coordinating month‑end closures, and assisting with internal audits and compliance activities. Your work will directly impact how we manage costs, enhance profitability, and maintain financial integrity in a fast‑growing digital insurance platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor operational budgets and expenses, comparing actuals with forecasts and identifying variances.
• Process and review invoices, expense claims and payment runs ensuring timely and accurate records.
• Assist in the planning and execution of internal audits, ensuring financial practices comply with regulatory standards.
• Perform financial analysis to support business initiatives, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Maintain financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and data integrity.
• Support cash flow management, liaise with banks and financial institutions, and assist in treasury operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• 2–4 years of experience in financial roles, preferably in insurance, fintech or services industry.
• Strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, financial regulations and internal control frameworks.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, financial reporting software and ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and communication skills.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
