Position Summary

As a Talent & Culture Intern, you will play a key support role across the administration, welfare, events, and recruitment functions of the Human Resources department. This position is ideal for someone currently pursuing a degree in HR or a related field and looking for hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. HR Administration

• Prepare and maintain employee files and documentation for all active colleagues
• Conduct Talent & Culture orientation for new joiners
• Prepare ID and Heartist Cards for staff
• Track and renew passports and visas, liaising with T&C coordinators as needed
• Maintain accurate digital records and organize the T&C shared drive
• Prepare monthly colleague newsletters and update internal T&C noticeboards
• Handle administrative requests such as experience letters and internal documentation
• Place and track Future Log orders for the T&C department
• Support in day-to-day queries from staff regarding HR policies and documentation

2. Welfare & Engagement Events

• Plan and execute staff events including Raffles Connect, monthly MD’s Lunches, and Employee Recognition Programs (Colleague of the Month, etc.)
• Maintain tracking records of award winners
• Assist with creative poster designs, engagement campaigns, and calendar scheduling
• Coordinate event logistics: venue booking, invitations, BEOs, and materials setup

3. Recruitment Support

• Schedule interviews for Level 1 roles
• Conduct reference checks for shortlisted candidates
• Coordinate visa cancellations for incoming hires as applicable

Qualifications & Skills

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
• Strong interest in HR processes: onboarding, employee engagement, administration, or compliance
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Team player with initiative and a positive, adaptable attitude
• Prior HR-related internship or relevant coursework is an asset (not mandatory)
