Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiovascular Technologist to join our medical imaging team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for performing high-quality, non-invasive cardiac ultrasound procedures, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), in accordance with clinical protocols. You will play a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic information while ensuring the highest standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) as per established protocols and clinical requirements.
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other medical personnel to ensure timely, effective, and patient-centered care.
• Prioritize diagnostic testing based on patient acuity, clinical indications, and departmental workflow.
• Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility in response to changing caseloads and urgent procedures.
• Provide age-appropriate, culturally sensitive care tailored to each patient’s developmental stage and background.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure while maintaining privacy and confidentiality in line with HIPAA standards.
• Participate in on-call duties and assist with echocardiography services in multiple areas, including nursing units, cardiovascular labs, surgery, and outreach programs.
• Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot echocardiography equipment; select appropriate transducers and technical settings for optimal imaging quality.
• Be accountable for patient outcomes and uphold professional standards in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Imaging, or a related science field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as an echocardiography technician.
• DHA license or DHA eligibility letter is mandatory.
• Solid understanding of echocardiography principles, anatomy, and cardiac pathophysiology.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly interact with patients and healthcare teams.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient care, safety, and quality standards.

Preferred Attributes

• Candidates available to join immediately will be given preference.
• Willingness to relocate or commute reliably to Dubai is required.
