About Us

The Waste Lab is a women-led, impact-driven startup committed to rescuing food waste, restoring soil health, and promoting regenerative agriculture in the UAE and beyond. We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Data Entry Operator to join our Dubai-based team immediately.

Job Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate records of driver collections and waste segregation data.
• Capture photos of the segregation process and ensure proper documentation.
• Monitor and verify driver data submissions and follow up for any missing information.
• Use Excel templates to input data with a high level of accuracy and consistency.
• Conduct basic equipment integrity checks and report any issues or discrepancies.
• Collaborate closely with the Data Analyst to support reporting and analysis tasks.
• Assist in creating reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI (if required).
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure data security protocols are followed.
• Perform general administrative duties to support operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of data analysis tools, including Power BI.
• Strong command of English (spoken and written); Arabic is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and typing speed.
• Ability to multitask, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate professionally with vendors, clients, and colleagues.
• Passionate about sustainability and open to supporting a range of tasks in a growing startup.

Additional Details

• Work schedule: 6 days/week, including weekends.
• 6-month probation period.
• Preference given to candidates with their own UAE residency visa.
