Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to lead the finance function for our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in real estate brokerage and development finance, with a strong focus on financial reporting, compliance, and project accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Management & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing, including expense posting, accruals, and journal entries
• Analyze sales and income performance vs. forecasts, providing actionable insights
• Manage vendor payments, prepaid expenses, and petty cash oversight

Compliance & Regulatory Oversight

• Maintain VAT input/output logs and ensure timely quarterly filings
• Oversee payroll processing and AML compliance for client transactions
• Ensure adherence to RERA/DLD regulations, including escrow reporting

Project-Based Accounting

• Reconcile project bank accounts with client ledgers
• Follow up on pending payments in line with SPAs
• Review Sale & Purchase Agreements (SPAs) for financial accuracy
• Generate custom reports on sales progress, collections, and profitability

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (CMA/CPA preferred)

Experience:

• 8+ years in accounting, including 2-3 years in UAE real estate (developer/brokerage)
• Proficiency in Tally Prime or similar accounting software

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis)
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, RERA/DLD compliance, and escrow mechanisms

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional attention to detail and communication
• Proactive mindset with ability to streamline financial controls
