Head Culinary Associate Full Time

Position Summary

As a Cook Supervisor, you will oversee the preparation and presentation of food items to ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with brand standards. You will support kitchen operations by supervising team members, maintaining food safety standards, and ensuring that guest expectations are met through effective communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily cooking activities
• Ensure proper portioning, food presentation, and decorative displays
• Monitor food preparation volume and adjust based on demand
• Communicate out-of-stock items and specials to F&B service staff
• Prepare special meals and substitute dishes when required
• Maintain kitchen supply stock levels and monitor product quality
• Ensure proper completion of food safety and kitchen logs
• Provide on-the-job support to cooks and assist with food production
• Enforce company safety, hygiene, and sanitation policies

Leadership & Administrative Support

• Assist management with hiring, training, and coaching team members
• Conduct evaluations and participate in disciplinary actions as needed
• Foster a positive and cooperative team environment
• Support colleagues and contribute to team goals
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold company standards

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand, sit, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs
• Capable of moving, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects as needed
• Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Technical, trade, or vocational culinary degree
• Experience: 4–6 years in culinary operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• License/Certification: None required
