Job Summary

The Pastry Chef exhibits creative baking and decorating talents while ensuring high-quality pastry production across all outlets. The role supports guest satisfaction, maintains food safety standards, and contributes to team leadership and innovation.

Candidate Profile

• Education & Experience Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED with 3 years of culinary or related experience
  OR
• 2-year degree in Culinary Arts or Hotel Management with 1 year relevant experience

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Assisting in Leading the Pastry Team
  Supervise daily operations and step in as needed
• Coordinate food preparation with cooks and staff
• Promote teamwork and lead by example
• Prepare food items according to specifications
• Support shift operations
• 2. Culinary Standards & Compliance
  Create new pastry concepts and menu items
• Monitor food safety standards (temperature, handling, storage)
• Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure HACCP compliance
• Support equipment maintenance and functionality
• Check quality of ingredients and final products
• 3. Customer Service Excellence
  Ensure daily standards meet or exceed guest expectations
• Address guest concerns and complaints professionally
• Seek guest feedback for quality and service improvement
• 4. Supporting Culinary Goals
  Meet team performance, budget, and waste reduction goals
• Monitor inventory and manage supplies
• Assist with food cost control and operational efficiency
• 5. Additional Duties
  Communicate effectively across departments
• Analyze and solve problems as they arise
• Attend meetings and collaborate with leadership
